We seek to make high-conviction equity investments in scalable businesses that we believe have attractive and sustainable unit economics. In combination with equity participation, we structure additional financing using flexible capital to facilitate growth.
Past and current investments include debt, equity, and structured transactions in the financial technology, real estate, consumer technology, and healthcare sectors.
Rennick co-founded Mark 2 in 2016. Prior to founding Mark 2, Rennick worked as an analyst at Sanders Capital, a $25 billion global equity manager based in New York City. Rennick received a Masters in Quantitative Finance from MIT and dual BS in Applied Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from SMU.
Mesh co-founded Mark 2 in 2016. He also runs his family office, investing in venture and early stage equity. Investments include: Teachable, Latch, Hifi, Upstack, Notation Capital, Maple VC, among others. He's also the host of the Talk Money podcast. Mesh received his BA from the University of Virginia.
Dave co-founded Floored, which was acquired by CBRE, where he serves as an SVP of Technology. Previously, he was a founding team member of TellApart (acquired by Twitter) & Bonobos (acquired by Walmart). Dave is also an active early-stage investor (Coinbase, Matterport & Warby Parker). Dave received his BA from Harvard University.
